About Seed of Hope
Seed of Hope Enhanced Living International (SOHEL) is a faith-based non-profit organization in Jos, Nigeria, dedicated to empowering people with disabilities through skills training (like vocational skills for work), trauma healing, mobility support (wheelchairs), and promoting inclusion, aiming to foster independence and transform lives by bridging gaps in education, skills, and societal acceptance, reflecting a holistic approach to disability inclusion.
Key Focus Areas:

Skills Training: They run a Skills Center to provide technical, business, and foundation skills for people with disabilities, helping them access work and livelihoods.

Trauma Healing: Using Bible-based models, they offer mental health support and healing for trauma, often linked to disability or conflict.

Mobility & Accessibility: Providing essential aids like wheelchairs to improve physical access and independence for individuals with disabilities.

Inclusion & Advocacy: Promoting integration into the community, fostering inclusion, and advocating for the rights and full potential of people with disabilities.

Empowering individuals with disability through training in various skills at our Skills Center, enabling them to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
